When I was a kid we had a holiday in North Wales at a caravan park near Porthmadog. We discovered a narrow gauge railway which, at that time, ran from the town to Blaenau Ffestiniog. It still runs but it’s also merged with the Welsh Highland Railway to run services to Caernarfon.
